This disc is the only one I know of that has been authorized by the Hendrix Estate. It is for that reason and my love of his guitar playing, music and performances that makes this a must own for any Hendrix fan. Don't expect to hear Purple Haze or other over played songs he wrote early in his career. This Cd is about the direction Jimi was headed, if he would have lived. That was exactly what I wanted. Hendrix is still number one on MY list of the best guitarists of all time. May he R.I.P. knowing he was so loved by so manly people and still is in 2017!
