It replaced a French door but the water dispenser was Part of the inside cabinet on the old unit and could not be repaired. The Amanda has outside water and ice and this saves energy By not opening the door. Bright LED lighting and the especially great Fast cool feature is a must when entertaining when the refrig door is Opened a lot. Keeps the interior around 34 degrees. Ice cube dispenser does not clog. Great craftsmenship and exceeded our expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a week ago to replace our almost 30 year old Whirlpool 33" side by side and love it. We're accustomed to using alot of ice and water from the fridge, went thru 3 ice makers on previous fridge, and I've read reviews that say the ice making and dispensing is too noisy. Yes, the ice dispensing makes noise, just as much as my previous one, no more and no less. Frozen h2o makes noise no matter how you slice it. This fridge is huge compared to our old side by side and very user friendly too. I'm a rather picky person and have not yet found a thing with it that I don't care for. Hoping this one makes it to almost 30 years too!
