Ever improving their renowned pedals, Crank Brothers have created the Candy 7 Mountain Pedal which is a new, competition-oriented model that's exceptionally tough and offers a refined fit, feel, and power transfer. The Candy 7 features Crank Brothers' new traction pad technology to achieve the optimal interface between pedal and shoe. On each side of the pedal are polyurethane pads with a diamond plate traction pattern directly integrated into the body. These pads not only optimize cleat engagement, but also optimize the shoe tread contact with the pedal body. Equipped with upgraded, premium quality bearings from Igus and Enduro, and the all new double seal system to prevent water and debris from entering the pedal, even in the most extreme trail conditions. The result is an all new level of longevity, durability, and performance. In typical Candy fashion, these pedals combine a compact, 6061-T6 aluminum pedal platform - perfect for added support and control that the minimalist Eggbeater edition doesn't provide - with Crank Brothers' renowned 4-sided entry system to ensure clipping in is a breeze.
