Better Homes & Gardens Natural Woven Battery-Operated Large Pendant Light by Dave & Jenny Marrs

I got this lamp specifically because it does not run on electricity. It takes (3) D batteries to operate, it does not use USB and it is not rechargable. Batteries for the lamp are not included. The bulb it came with appears to be one of those long life energy efficient bulbs that lasts for many years - but I am only guessing by looking at it. There was a piece of paper inside the box that gave advice on operating the lamp, but it it didn't say what kind of bulb the lamp came with. I am a big gal. I specifically took a picture holding this lamp so you can kind of see just how big it is. I figured if I took a picture of it hanging, that doesn't show how massive it is. It is very light for it's size. The lamp is VERY nice looking, and is excellent quality. It comes with a remote, and the remote does come with a battery. The remote only has an 'on' button and an 'off' button. I plan on using this outside, but I will also use it when our power goes out. I live in a rural area and we lose power every few months or so for several hours, sometimes all night. Inside the box was a metal piece. I'm not sure what this is for, it is not piictured on the box or mentioned on the instructional paper. It arrived bent. Not sure if it was intended to be included in the box with the lamp or not. It might be a lamp hanger, but I can't figure out how to attach it. Doesn't matter to me, I don't need it I'm going to use 3M hooks. This lamp really is a beauty. I'm very happy with it.

The large woven pendant light was very easy to hang. It can be used for outdoor patios or indoors It is battery operated. It comes with a remote control. The shade is a lovely bamboo color and it's bowl shaped. It reminds me of a vintage style hanging light.
