Very well, made the lift up features very easy to use. Would definitely recommend for anybody with a king size bed

I love the idea of having eaay access to underbed storage, and the ability to vacuum periodically! This bedframe is HEAVY 103lbs without the mattress...so keep that in mind! Definitely requires two people to assemble and it takes about an hour. The instructions are very good with correlating letters and images, just don't skip ahead. The wooden slats are nice because there's only two "pieces" connected by velcro so it makes it easier to put into place, just be sure you stretch them out evenly. So why only 4 stars you wonder?? The height!! The bed doesn’t allow for a boxspring so it is just the mattress and that makes for a very low profile, specifically 20inches in height. (insert sad face) They would have done better making it a higher based frame enabling for more storage area and a higher profile bed. That being said, it is a great understorage bed that feels sturdy and comfortable.
