They have kind of a weathered look that makes them look shabby chic. The chalkboards are made durably, and they are absolutely adorable. These are great for posting messages, signs, menus, and displays. I love these. I recommend these great chalkboards

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife is a teacher and absolutely loves this. The torched wood frame is just the right tone, not too dark and looks beautiful. The craftsmanship is top notch. You can either hang this up on the hook provided on the back or use the metal legs that swing out if you prefer to go that way. The legs are nice and sturdy and are tight so you dont have to worry sbout them being loose and the frame falling over. The chalkboard is high quality. This is so versatile. My wife can put this on her desk for writing memos or messages as well as put it on a table in the class to point out or describe things being displayed. So many options !! In conclusion because of the high quality and versatility of this chalkboard frame I highly recommend it.
