Don't bother

Don't waste your time on this product. The materials used are not sufficient to actually support the weight of the product it is intended to hold. Even tightened all the way, the clamping force provided over the pivoting ball is not sufficient to keep the radar detector in place over the slightest of bumps in the road. When attempting to tighten further to increase the clamping force, the screw completely stripped. I will be returning for a refund.
