I have used Denali snowshoes for almost twenty years and almost on a daily basis when the snow is down. Used in everything from deep snow (not much powder here) to snowshoeing to work (crusty snow, ice-covered banks, slush covered roads) and works on it all. Lightenings are are better in untracked, deep snow but anything else the Denalis/Evos are at least as good. I prefer the traction bars to the traction frames of the Lightenings because more forgiving if you overlap while moving. Only thing that I would like to see is a longer, 25", version, better than tails.

I have purchased those in 2010 . Used them on average one-day snowshoes trips in North Cascades, Mount Rainier. More than 30 trips - still works perfect.
