I'm sure the Nutcracker itself would of been fine. I returned it because it was broken. I'm pretty sure it happened during shipping. First off it was not packaged well. The box has puncher holes on it There should of been styrofoam wrapped around the midsection to help secure the 3 foot nutcracker in its delivery box. When I opened it, the first thing I noticed was the horn was completely snapped off. The nutcracker legs was detached from the base and the boots were not secure on the base. I would of kept the nutcracker if the horn was not broken. I could of fixed everything else. The horn needs to be replaced. Glue will not fixed the horn since it was snapped off. I'm not say not to buy this, just wish whoever loaded it into the delivery truck(s) would of taken better care of it, and it should of been packaged A LOT better for proper protection. Hopefully if you order this, your is better protected.
