I bought this rug hoping to save my carpet any accidents with new surroundings..second night here, she peed at the bottom of the bed..it stayed on the rug, did not soak in, and was really easy to clean up! This was a true success for me! The rug is thin, and moves a bit..I wasn't loving it until it did its job..If you are looking for a nice pee resisting rug, I would say YES!
