Control Valve End Power Steering Return Line Hose Assembly - Compatible with 1967 - 1970 Mercury Cougar 1968 1969

This return line is a good replacement. To ensure proper fit and working like the OEM part, I removed the hose from the metal tubing and cut approximately 4" of the metal tube down and reassembled and use a PEX 1/2" clamp to seal together. The longer metal tube negatively impacts the movement of the return line. When the wheels are turned left and right, only the rubber hose should bend back and forth. The longer metal tube put itself into a bind. Again, this is a perfect line and it gives the person installing new pressure and return to fit the system in place to ensure correct operation of the components without the problem of binding.
