This Security Cabinet is a good option for someone wanting to lock up their ammunition without going to the expense and logistical hassle of an actual gun-type safe. This cabinet will certainly keep any children from getting into my target ammo supply, and with the cabinet being bolted to the floor the average burglar will not spend the time to force entry into the cabinet. Of course, firearms themselves belong in an actual gun safe.

Great little cabinet for the price especially when combined in a bundle with a rifle stack-on Sentinel cabinet. Packaged well and had no scratches. Product as described. Don't expect it to be a fireproof and all that jazz like a safe. Just a basic lock storage to keep the little ones out. Would recommend.

I bought this smaller Stack-On box to fit my larger side-by-side firearms storage cabinet. It fits great on the side-by-side and adds to the look of the overall storage unit. It is made with the same rugged construction and the same sound and solid locking system as the side-by-side. I use it for my reloading primer storage as well as an overflow for the boxes of ammo I've made. All in all, I am very happy with the entire setup and greatly advise anyone to buy both the smaller top box above as well as the Stack-On double-door gun cabinet model #GCDB-924. Both units are a good "middle" type protection and deterrent for all your handguns and rifles.
