Great rug

Shedding Aside, It's a Gorgeous Rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was initially skeptical because the color was listed as hunter green, but the photo showed more of a seafoam tone—which is exactly what I was hoping for. Thankfully, the picture is completely accurate! To me, hunter green reads more like a deep forest green, so I was pleasantly surprised and grateful that the color matched the image perfectly.The rug feels thick and luxurious underfoot—such a cozy addition to the space. That said, it does shed... a lot. I've had it for about two months, and I'm hoping the shedding slows down over time. It even clogs my (admittedly cheap) vacuum, so that's something to consider. Sure, I could invest in a better one, but we make do with what we have!I'm giving it 4 stars only because of the shedding, but if you're okay with a little extra sweeping and vacuuming, I'd still recommend it. Personally, I don't mind the upkeep, and I love how it looks and feels—definitely planning to keep it for as long as possible!

Thick but less texture than photos

The rug is plush and we got away without needed a rug pad under, but it has significantly less texture than the photos show and is quite scratchy underfoot. It has also absolutely destroyed my cordless Dyson vacuum with its shedding. We saw reviews about the shedding and are used to wool rugs with initial shed periods, but honestly these fibers are so thick, we will likely need to invest in a corded vacuum to suck up enough fibers when we clean to soften and reduce shed in the long term. The green color is more neutral leaning cool which provides good contrast with our vintage greige couch, although I tend to prefer warmer, richer green tones. I do wish it had more texture visible, but for the price I can't really be mad. Rugs are a pain to return so we will live with it and see how it ages once we're able to vacuum more than a section at a time.
