Fantastic workout

I got this game because it was on sale for 59 bucks I figured it I did not like it at least I didn't' pay the 100 for it and can get my money back from selling it on eBay. wrong!! This exercise game is great the heart monitor does work if you read the instructions. I read on some other post that it does not work but if u read the instructions, it works.(but u don't need it to work out) it come with workout rubber bands too The workout is very intense once u choice them..The menu is very frustrating if u are choosing them rather than going with the already made workout. There are some other quirks I read about but I have not encountered them there are works a round so I have read. but this game is great I was out of breath and my calves' definitely felt the burn. I sold my copy of your shape: fitness the other kinect workout game and kept this one. Dogeball is a bunch of balls aimed at the play the player just has to move. Boxing the player uses a boxing bag. i liked this one I didn't try the scoccer. Mountain biking is squatting and running in place

EA Sports Active 2 for Xbox Kinect

This is a great product/game. It makes working out fun and challenging. Ive been doing the 9 week bootcamp challenge for 2 weeks now and have noticed considerable impovement in both muscle tone and stamina. Highly recommend this for anyone from beginner to advanced.

Pretty Intense Workout

I bought this product after reviewing its website and the reviews there. I found it on sale at Christmas and decided it would be my new year project. I have been pretty inactive and have a lot of weight to loose. This was something I could do inside during cold weather. It was very easy to set up, came with resistance bands and even battaries for the heart rate monitor. It gathered a lot of information to personalize. It gives great examples of the exercises, gives you time to practice it before you start and then during the workout gives you feedback if there is something you are doing wrong. You can chose between a male and female trainer and which type of program you want. You also can get online support and groups connected with the Active 2. You also get to select the activity level - I picked Easy level. This program works all your muscles! I went through 26 exercises including the warmup stretches and cooldown. It was a good workout and while it pushed me outside what I was comfortable with, I was able to complete it. For two days after thought, I was SO sore. I started the 2nd day workout on the 4th day because I was too sore to do it - but like I have been pretty sedintary except light walking and taking the stairs. I realize now I could have edited some of the exercises out and work up to the level so I get my muscles ready for this - as even the easy level is meant for people who have been active. The only thing I didn't like about it, and I learned to turn it off, is that it takes pictures of you (The Kinect) doing it, and well - I am too out of shape to want that! Maybe when I get fit I will like this aspect!
