There was a slight defect with the part but i contacted abu garcia and the issue was taking care of extradornarily fast and easy. Great product and great customer service. I have owned each generation of the famous Veritas rod and have loved them all. The upgrade of this generation seems to make the rod more alive in your hands. I love the improved feel, the light weight and especially the famous balance these rods are known for. Everything from a drop shot bite to a topwater slam is handled with ease. Classic rod that belongs in the hall of fame!
