This is what the back of the DVD says... I picked this up, absolutely thrilled that this might be THE ultimate movie for my tastes. I got home, put the DVD in, and I can't put my disappointment in to words.
When you look at the cover of this movie, you expect to feel completely desolate and hopeless (see: 'The Last Man on Earth', 'Night of the Living Dead'), but you don't. There is no need for the amount of LIGHT in each and every single scene. How could one feel scared with that much sun light brightening up the surroundings? I'm assuming that this is the case for the last quarter of the movie, as well, because I turned it off after the third.
This was one of David Carradine's final films, and I really don't know why he accepted the role that he had. He has a rather small and pointless role, and he doesn't even act convincingly.
I wasn't scared, and I wasn't impressed.
