Unfortunately it is a subpar quality item, the frame is made up of a 1/2 inch and 3/8 pipe. The frame is completely red and it makes the actual color of the kart look red even with the different color fairings. All black would be best. The battery and cabling system are hard to figure out. There was no assembly or wiring instructions to the vehicle and the customer service line does not answer during holidays? Lastly, I have Walmart and I should have FREE shipping… which was not the case and I didn't notice until too late. Wheels are too small for the cart and the motor's only work when they want to. Only the right motor is actually working and again I don't know if it was wired correctly from the start. After putting the kart together the charging of the battery was pretty easy with the light on the actual charger to see if it was up to full potential. The chassis is not for a normal size 8 year old, it actually is much smaller even with the seat all the way back. We bought this kart so that we could ride inside the house without gases and it's a good option. Speed is not that great as it states it should go to 15mph but we will never know if all power is being used to the wheels since we are not sure of the wiring.
