Sub-par Kohler product

The only positive thing I can say is that the bar looks nice. Otherwise? As others have noted, it's difficult to install, especially because each wall plate has a hole that's mostly blocked by the outward bend of the rod, so it's almost impossible to angle a screwdriver correctly. The escutcheons are poorly designed and don't just "snap into place," as the instructions suggest; the hole in one of my escutcheons was off center, which made it impossible to line up correctly, and one of the little clips in the other broke off. The drywall anchors are cheap plastic; two of mine broke so I replaced them all with metal toggle bolts. Finally, the instructions are only minimally helpful. Very disappointing.
