I realize this dress wasn't going to sparkle but the colors in the pictures was very vibrant. The colors on the actual dress was very dull. The sizes are at least one size too big. I bought the small (which was a medium or large) and the medium which was a large or 1X). The mid section should have been smooth according to the picture, but it was bunchy. A dress that looks like it would be slimming would (by design) make your waist look stocky. The stitching was sloppy. The fabric wasn't slinky as one would expect for a sparkly looking (but not actually sparkly) dress. The fabric was thick and and bulky.
