X9 1080p Mini Camera Home Small Wireless Wifi

I got this for my apartment. You have to set it up by temporarily switching over to 2.4 ghz wifi and using bluetooth. You have to download a smartphone app from the app store. It saves 15 sec videos with sound to a pay cloud account that you can sign up for which I did. It has a motion sensor. The motion sensor has a 1 or 2 second delay before it starts recording. It's really small, miniature , a little cube so it's not obvious that it is there. It has different settings for motion sensor sensitivity and low light. It has very good optics and resolution. It will capture a full picture of a person with detail. Most of time with normal movement it records in real time motion but if you moving too fast it may go to stop motion. You can leave the app on or turn it off. You can access the videos from anywhere using wifi or cellular from the smartphone. I haven't had problems with it, very happy with it. I haven't tried it outside but I think the camera has to be around the wifi router but that would work from the steps.

wow ! this is a great little camera :) I am definitely ordering more. i may even replace my corded camera's im not a tech person and i set this up in under 5 minutes! wow. Advertising on app startup but sharp camera

Mixed review. Easy to install (easy instructions included) and get it going with motion detection notification, however, short battery life so must keep plugged in with short USB plug, and then every time you access app, you're hit with a full screen advertisement ONCE with a small location to click to continue to app at top right of screen (pic below). Resolution for such a small device that is as tall as a quarter coin is crystal clear, easily placed, but with plug attached not easily hidden. Cloud service available for fee but not required to use camera with phone. I provided pic of screen with various colors and items to show clarity and some options. You will want a longer plug and SD card with it.
