This fit the bill

I was limited to the size of a mounting bracket, as my shower stall/tub is molded one piece with a protruding lip that recessed the shower rod mounting platform. This rod fit the bill. It's sturdy, but not as sturdy as others I tried. I love the extra room it provides in the shower. I ordered a second one for my other identical tub.
