If you are replacing a king 8201 antenna with the newer models that fit this base be advised that the new base will not cover the holes from the earlier model antenna. I had to seal the two rear holes from the 8201 antenna when I upgraded to the 8501 antenna. The cable from the rv also has to be routed to the new antenna before the antenna can be mounted to the new base. If your cable is short it is not easy to attach it.
