it worked good . I just filled out it together the pump ,the cord ,and the shower head . filled up a 5 gallon bucket and filled it with water . left enough room to boil a pot of water . poured the hot water in . put the pump down in the bottom of the bucket waited about a minute and pushed the power button held it down for a few seconds . pushed the button on the shower head hose and it had great pressure . I would turn it off at the pump to lather my hair with shampoo and wash off .then turned it back on to rinse off . turned pump back off to use conditioner through hair and let it stay in for a few minutes . then turned the pump back on and rinsed the conditioner out of my hair and gave myself another quick body rinse. I turn the water off at the pump instead of st the shower head I think it's better to do that you aren't suppose to turn that part off for long with the pump running but you can turn the pump off as long as you wont . yes you got to turn off why you lather hair up ,wash off ,and stuff but it is really a great little shower . I'm so glad I got it . you can take a longer shower if you use 2 give gallon buckets . I used 1 and used my own bucket and took a good shower . great when you don't have running water cause of busted pipe or whatever reason or camping or off rosding . hey I'm clean and feel refreshed . it felt great
