I bought this smoker after years of looking for an electric smoker for home use. I chose East Oak because of the excellent reviews of both the product and their customer service. I used it three times flawlessly. Then disaster struck. I live in the woods of North Georgia, and even though I clean it after each use, a black bear wanted to see what it was all about. The bear knocked it around and damaged the door. I reached out to East Oak customer service to get a replacement door. They were awesome and helped me get a new one. Not too many customer service teams are really sympathetic to situations like mine. I never write reviews, but I felt this company deserves the praise.

So easy to use! Warms up pretty quickly as well. The set up takes a little bit of time but not a bunch of effort. Follow the first use direstions and be aware, a little goes a long way where the wood chips are involved. I made the mistake of thinking the chips would burn quickly but they dont at all. I only needed a half of cup of chips for a whole chicken, 26 wing dings, 2 turkey tenderloins and about 2 pounds of venison. i still had some leftover that weren't burnt up all the way. This smoker is worth every penny. Just set it and forget it. I cant wait to use it for Thanksgiving. You can legit cook anything in this thing, even pies!

Wonderful smoker. However I do recommend smoking most meat for eight hours instead of six. especially if it is a beef roast, any other meat always look it up and find out what the best time would be to smoke it. You have to figure out the best way to smoke the meat. But I will give this smoker five stars I do love it!
