By installing the soft start module, the machine no longer starts up so jerkily, but only reaches full speed a short time after switching on (approx. 1-2 seconds). The motor is thus significantly less stressed when switched on. This protects the bearings/gears and extends the life of the moving parts.
The starting current is reduced by installing the starting module and the machine starts up smoothly. This usually prevents the fuse from blowing when it is switched on. Due to the small design, the module can be easily accommodated in almost any machine or power tool within the housing.
Please note: The soft start module is only suitable for motors with a brushed motor (with carbon brushes).
