Many Voicesone Heart

After several days of bending laboriously over the artwork, sewn by hands with bloody fingers, the panels for the More Than This Many Voices, One Heart EP were done. Made up of little bits of fabric cut into shapes, and sewn together one stitch at a time, the artwork for the album took longer to create than the recording process in the studio. More Than This is made up of four close friends from the Coachella Valley in Southern California. More than friends really, they are like family. It is with such unity that the band's cohesive sound emanates forth. A rhythmic sound begins with Chad Dean's unique custom Roselynn cajon kit locked in with Steven Kippel's subdued, unadorned bass with the melodies provided by Joshua Pratt's delicate piano and Brandon Sampson's acoustic guitar and powerful tenor vocal abilities. The quartet have found an acoustic-alternative sound that engaging and intimate with soul-rending dynamics and a burning passion.
