Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Toddler Boys Closed Toe Slippers, Green, 5/6

I haven’t been able to get these off my son’s feet since he saw them. They quickly replaced his “fire truck shoes” (also slippers) that he was obsessed with. I have to bargain with him to take them off at bedtime. First, these slippers are extremely cute. The ninja turtle faces have these bright, vibrant, friendly faces with big welcoming eyes. The color pops a lot. And they have these little ties that represent their bandanas. Each slipper has letters representing the first letter of the the ninja turtles names, and for a while, he couldn’t get enough of just showing me the letters in amazement. Next, they are just very comfy for him. I put my hands in there and they are extremely soft. So I imagine each step must feel like walking on clouds for him. Lastly, they have a ton of grip at the bottom. So I feel confident that he’s safe as he’s running around in them that he won’t slip and fall.

My son went nuts with these! So in regular shoe size, he’s a 10. I have size 11/12 here and they fit perfectly! He can slip them on and off without much trouble! That being said, they do not fall off his feet either! The day he got them, he tried them on and they must have been so comfortable that, we went out to an event in town, and when he got out of the vehicle, I did not realize he left the house and kept them on! This was not the only time it happened! So comfortable that he wears them everywhere! I do like that the bottom of slipper, is harder material and has grip like texture as well. Kind of like rubber tread. I could see in the future, the more often he wears them, it will wear down. The plus side is, the hard material under the rubber bump tread will still stay hard! In hopes it prevents slipping or falling. A decent amount of padding for foot. Could probably be a bit more for my liking but for my son, apparently it’s enough! Covers his whole foot. Soft material otherwise! The sewing of the slipper is done very well! I don’t see any weak spots of ripping apart anytime soon! Bright colors and cool design! I would recommend!
