The gel fill-in protector provides a soft and flexible feel to the ankle, ensuring that the ankle is not directly in contact with the hard plastic splint, offering greater comfort.

Breathable, skin-friendly pads made from high-density sponge (Foam Pads version), or medical liquid gel (Gel Pads version) provide insulation from the hard external splint with excellent thermal conductivity.

Application:

How to use it?
1.Take off the foam (gel) pads on the splint before wearing and adjust the width of the heel strap for a better fit.
2.Sit on a step stool with your lower legs at a 90° angle to the ground, then place your heel on the rounded corners of the heel strap with the arrow on the hard-shell splint pointing toward the toe. Adjust the splints on both sides according to the ankle joint condition, aligning the gel protective fill-in with the prominent positions of the ankle bones, and ensuring an even gap between the splints.
3.Pass the upper adjustable strap through the front of the shin and secure it with the buckle. Place the lower adjustable strap on the hook and loop, pass it through the front of the shin, and secure it with the strap.
4.It is recommended to wear socks with the product.
5.After relieving swelling, the product can be worn with low-top, loose, and soft lace-up shoes. Loosen shoelaces as much as possible before putting it on.

Note:
Gel pads can be used for both ice and hot compress.
Freezing Method: Refrigerate the gel pad for 2-3 hours before use.
Heating Method: Heat the gel pad in hot water or microwave.
If using a microwave, wrap the gel pad in a wet towel and heat on medium or high heat for no more than 30 seconds and no more than 140 °F.
