I bought one of these about 2 years ago....as a project manager I ended up working with a technician that didn't have the expertise I expected and I ended up training him, to some extent. After our project was done I gave him my Southwire phone line tester. To my surprise I had to buy 4 different ones to get one that worked 100%. It works, but there's no reason why 75% should be defective.
