Cute and comfy but too tight on my wide feet

Before making my purchasing decision I read several reviews on the product page that said these slippers ran large so I got size 9/10 because that seemed to most closely match my normal sneaker size 8.5/9 wide. They fit perfectly length wise but were too snug width-wise. The sizing chart on the product page comparing U.S. sizes to U.K. and European sizes was confusing and unnecessary for selling on a U.S. website. I would only recommend these slippers for someone with narrow feet.
