I got sick on a Tuesday, and started taking dextromethorphan and guaifenesin. I kept getting worse (couldn't breathe well to sleep, exhausted, congested, moving to my chest from sinuses), but no fever, no chest pain, no shortness of breath, so I knew urgent care wasn't going to help yet. Then I remembered my sister mentioning psuedoephedrine for her colds--and omg, I cannot believe the quick turnaround this gave me. I started taking this Saturday afternoon, and by Sunday 9pm, I had energy again. I was interested in doing things. I didn't even finish the pack of these before I moved back to my normal meds because I want to know I have this on hand if I get sick again soon. Unbelievable how much this moved congestion in the first twelve hours. I didn't need to watch the clock for my doses either because I was feeling better. Thank you, Tylenol! I have never much cared brand-wise about cold medicine, but this gets a strong recommendation!
