Part does not fit my vehicle

The part does not fit all vehicles and cannot be used for an extention to any trailer hitch. Auto body shop believes the part is for a specific vehicles hitch that required modification. Cost to ship back will out way tossing it. Would not recommend buying an extension this way even for the believed cost savings.
