As a source of Vitamin A and d and the Omega-3 essential fatty acids EPA and DHA, cod liver oil has always been an excellent source of nourishment for healthy bones and skin, healthy vision, cardiovascular function and mental maintece. Its taste, however, has always been a problem. Swanson efas has solved the problem with a unique formula that doesn't have the foul flavor often associated with cod liver oil supplements. While many cod liver oil products may contain as little as 50% actual cod liver oil, our 100% pure oil is derived exclusively from the livers of wild-caught and sustainably sourced norwegian codfish.
