Inspired by vintage flat top pens of yesteryear, the Milano is machined from beautiful Acrylic and Ebonite material. Ebonite is a natural hard rubber, expect to see slight variation from the pictures (no two pens are alike!). Milano is best suited for folks who prefer a more heavy/ full feel when writing with a pen
The standard size 6 nibs are great for everyday writing. This pen comes with gold-plated clip to match the gold-plated nib offering and is fitted with a custom Osprey converter. They are designed to also accept international standard converters or pre-filled ink cartridges, giving you the flexibility to use either bottled ink or pre-filled ink cartridge. These nibs are fitted with plastic feeds.
Stub: A Stub nib tipping material is ground flat on the end. This type of a nib produces a narrow line on the cross or horizontal stroke (0.5mm), broad on the down or vertical stroke (0.9mm to 1.0mm). It mimics calligraphy (without doing anything different!) unlike flex nibs, which require pressure to change the line width. A stub nib is (usually) a broad nib that has a flat end but smoothly rounded corners.
Don’t forget to check out and add additional nib units from our wide variety of interchangeable nibs show cased under the Nibs n Nib Units section. Pick up ONE pen body and have the luxury of trying different writing styles with the interchangeable nibs. Switching between different nib types becomes a breeze as the nib units have threads that screw and unscrew easily, without the mess of friction fit each time.
