NOVA: The Vikings

Other than the reanactments that I've never been crazy about, this was very good and very detailed. The took Viking myths and showed their origin, brought out a lot about their culture and crushed mis-conceptions about what we think we know about the Viking culture compared to what the facts in history shows. I had no idea they made it as far as Russia on one coast and to the United States on the other. Excellent DVD for anyone teaching grade school or high school history class. Makes you want to learn more.
