Lucha Libre: Life Behind the Mask

A pencil-neck guy that is not Mil Mascaras, wearing Mil's mask, is not a very attractive cover for a lucha libre/wrestling fan, but "don't judge a book by it's cover". Unfortunately, this time the cover tried to aware you... "...Life behind the mask" is a documentary that tries to bring to us the real life of the luchadores (mexican wrestlers), what do they do in a regular day, where do they work, etc, but all of the luchadores are actually US resident people, living and working in the US. Yes, they are "mexicans" and/or "chicanos", but LIFE is way different in Mexico than in the States. As always, it's a good attemp to show us what it is to be a luchador, and any lucha libre documental is always welcome, but price is a little higher than the rest. Dvd audio is in spanish, with english subtitles. I'll also recommend the $7.86 "La Lucha!: The Struggle" dvd, available at Walmart.com, if you are into wrestling documentals. It also tries to get the most of the lucha world, but originated from San Diego and other California places, no Mexico's footage. Be sure to check my other wrestling and lucha item reviews.
