For people with environmental allergies
Have had itchy scalp (and skin) for YEARS, and no dandruff shampoo helped. I tried vinegar, lemon juice, baking soda, alcohol and nothing stopped the itching. Finally saw a dermatologist who said it was allergies to something in my environment. Went to an Aveda salon and asked my stylist if they had anything for itchy scalp caused by allergies and he suggested this shampoo. I was amazed. First time I used it, the itching stopped. 8 weeks later, it is still working. The fragrance is a bit medicinal, but it doesn't linger in the hair and it stopped the itching. This was the best price I could find on the internet (it's expensive, but so worth it if you have this problem).
