Montblanc Ink Pen Refills for Rollerball Pens, Medium Point, Black Ink

I bought these Montblanc rollerball refills recently. Like every other Le Grand black refill I have ever bought, from various distributors, including the one that came with the Meisterstuck pen over 20 years ago, they skip. I think it is a Montblanc problem, the refills are junk. Montblanc now tells me it is a Walmart problem; can't control where Walmart gets them from, etc. Whatever, they still skip, right out of the box. I did not buy this very expensive pen, it was a gift. Still, one would like to be able to use it once in a while. I understand it might dry up after a while, though my Bic pens do not. But right out of the box, take off the cap and write with it and it skips? No, that is unacceptable.
