LeapFrog Explorer & LeapPad Learning Game: Mr. Pencil Saves Doodleburg

Amazing game. My daughter first had the trailer when she got the leap pad and loved it. So we decided to buy the game. My daughter loves it. The game time Games are great and it has a great story line. Plus I like how the story can be read to her or she can read it on her own. Also like how she can click on an individual word and it will pronounce it for her. Plus the characters are cute.

My daughter started playing this about a month ago and has already made her way through it about 3 or 4 times. She absolutely loved it, although it seemed a bit simplistic to me. She needs to practice forming letters, which this did help with. I definitely think it's overpriced and managed to get this in cartridge form elsewhere on a massive sale. My main complaint other than the price is that it wasn't challenging enough or she just finished it too quickly. We bought the expansion online (and it works fine with the cartridge), but it was so small (just a few extra areas), so that was a bit disappointing. Overall though she logged hours playing this and really loved it. She will be 5 in 2 months so I bet if she'd started when she was just 4 she would have had more use out of it. I have no idea what a 6 or 7 year old would like thisfor though.
