The Middle: The Complete First Season [DVD]

This is such a good show! I originally purchased it for myself but my daughter and her family likes it also, so I will be purchasing a set for them also, Plan on getting the whole series and will be purchasing an additional set also so they will also have a complete set of the series and I have my own.

This is not your typical mindless boring sitcom. I dont watch any sitcoms on television but this one I wont miss. I can relate so well to this show because I was Sue at her age. Geeky and Greasy with Braces. The middle child. I think that is the character in which this wonderfully funny comedy centers. All the kids are brilliant character actors. Eden Sure (sue) is amazing. How she performs some of her silly antics are mind blowing. Charlie (axel) is hilarious. Brick (youngest son) is even better. The funny little whisper at the end of his sentences! Where else have we seen anything remotely this creative. The entire cast is very talented and work so well together - yet it would not function well without each seperate personality. What i love about the show is that each episode has something important to teach families without getting preachy. I end up crying every episode but laughing hard much more.
