These have great image quality. I am impressed with the night vision, the image appears in black and white. They have been perfect for my husband and sons hunting trips. They are heavy duty, very durable, in order to be hands free when hiking or when they aren't in use there is a sturdy strap to connect them which allows you to wear them around your neck. The zoom is great, it can zoom up to 5 times without distorting the imagery. The provided sd card allows for many photos to be stored and then transferred to computer if needed.

Fun little monocular with the night vision. Easy to set up-one you make sure the ribbon isn't tangled in the better connections. Be aware that to get a single eye night vision that allows you to see everything clearly, you'll start with the basics at $3,000. This gives vague outlines and shapes. You'll be hard pressed to record anything useful using night vision, but considering what functional units start at, it's a good product.
