The final year of the third-generation Taurus (1999) was the last before Ford's complete redesign for the 2000 fourth-generation model. The 1999 MY was offered in four trims on the Taurus (LX, SE, SES, SEL) — plus the performance SHO — and three trims on the Sable (GS, LS, LS Premium), in both sedan and wagon body styles. The 3.0L Vulcan and 3.0L Duratec engines share this pump; the SHO does not. Ford issued two OEM part numbers for the 1999 MY (XF1Z9H307AA and AB). The 2000+ Taurus received a completely separate OEM part number series. Hardware: 1 O-ring, 1 fuel screen, 2 plastic clips; no sending unit.
