Product details

The Eggbeater 3s are made completely out of stainless steel; including the axle, lending this pedal rock solid reliability. This makes the Eggbeater 3 virtually unsusceptible to corrosion, perfect for rain slogged winters and cross courses. The EggBeater 3 also uses no bushings - only cartridge ball and needle bearings which allows the pedal to be slightly smoother running than the already smooth "2" and "1" pedals. As a result of the increased use of stainless steel, the Eggbeater 3 is a few grams heavier than the 2, but if reliability is your greatest concern, the money will be well spent, especially when you factor in Crank Brothers' 5 year warranty!
