They worked great even in 15+MPH wind
could fit a bit tighter on the foam covers, but they do the job and the audio sound improvement in 15+mph wind was amazing. I did side by side test with one without furry cover and one mic with, and I could barely understand audio without furry. Furry was so clear it was like recording indoors even though wind was strong enough to have a 3 foot flag stand out straight 15MPH+
