I have had a Bissell pro pet floor cleaner for 6 years and just for the first time used it on my travertine floors. I ordered their bare floor attachment and this floor cleaner liquid. I'm sure anyone who has ever had pets, especially young or older pets who have a harder time holding their body fluids can agree sometimes it's really hard to get the odor out of the flooring, carpet and tile both. It can be embarrassing if people come over even though you tried your best to get that out. I used this in my carpet landing under the stairs and the oder and stains came out amazingly well. Also for my travertine floors which are very porous, this cleaner with the Bissell cleaned the floors so well I was surprised and disgusted with all the dirt it pulled out, especially with the grout. I think after a couple more uses will help get grout brighter I can seal the floors again. Of course I would recommend cleaning a small inconspicuous area to test it to make sure it won't ruin your floor. The cleaner did not leave the floor shiny, but it did leave it clean and any smells that may have been in the tile seem to be sucked out. I did go over the floors each way (forward and back and then over the floors the other way right to left). The Bissell floor attachment is a complete game changer also (purchased from Bissell directly). This floor cleaner liquid, bare floor attachment, and the Bissell pro pet floor cleaner machine saved me a lot of money not having to hire a professional to come in and take care of it. I highly recommend.
