Needed an extra arm for previously purchased Honbay sofa and ottoman. What is great about this system is you can truly create a sectional that fits your needs and add to it later. I bought the loveseat and ottoman but change it up to fit a corner it was nice to be able to add the arm. Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your needs this is sold as set. I only needed one but down the road if my needs change I could turn the ottoman into a chair since I have to arms
