Not As Advertised by MotorGuide

I bought this trolling motor based on the MotorGuide catalog that stated the cable is 63" long. However, I found that the cable is only 48", and is too short to go over the seat of my jon boat. I called MotorGuide to obtain a longer cable, but was told they measure the cable from inside the motor to inside the foot pedal, which is misleading. I had no problem with Wal-Mart's service, but would stay away from MotorGuide and will only buy Minn Kota products from now on.
