Instructions
To avoid counter top scratches, place food on a level cutting board. Ensure the food fits inside the circumference of the Slap Chop. For smaller chopping needs such as nuts or chocolate, simply place the food in the base cap. Hold the Slap Chop with one hand, then, using the palm of your other hand, hit the plunger several times for your desired food size. Be sure to let the plunger return to its starting point between hits. One or two hits will create large pieces, more chopping will produce finer results. If you're using the base cap to create your favorite toppings, you can pour them directly from the base cap. No extra dishes to wash!

Well...it works
Honestly I bought it for my sister because she "had to have it." It works as advertised but honestly there are other chopping devices on the market that are much cheaper and do the same thing. I actually have an electronic chopper that I paid &10 for! Anway it gets the job done perfectly just wait for the sale!
