Chromebook with a view...

Excellent new Chromebook with ethernet port, longer-life battery and more! This laptop is lighter, has a larger screen and is great at office duty. This my 5th or 6th chromebook, most have been Acer but I've also used HP in the past. I like the Google ecosystem for Chrome and desktop apps, cloud services and regular updates. Not looking back!

Great Workhorse Fast & Reliable as your Internet!

Listen up Chromebook! Your OS is THE solution for online accounting teams. This is a HUGE $$ Global Market Niche! Modern accounting is entirely in Google Workspace and online apps, bypassing the endless MSoft Updates, reboots, missing functions and features etc etc that plague their OS. And where's the acer 715 model with the num pad gone? Obviously we'll NEVER like the search button - so make it Textured or give us back caps lock - plz do better OK?!

Great Chromebook for a Good Price

After deciding to jump off the Microsoft/Windows ship, I switched to a Chromebook. I didn't intend to choose a gaming model, but it was the only one that had the features I needed. Even though I don't do a lot of online gaming, I'm very happy with this laptop. Even though it's larger than my previous laptop, which is almost the same size, it's noticeably lighter. The 16" screen has a very nice display, thanks to the 2560x1600 resolution Intel iRIS graphics controller %26 100% sRGB. The sound from the speakers is a lot better than the average PC. I have two issues with this Chromebook: 1) the battery doesn't last quite as long as I'd like it to. I've currently been on mine 3.5 hours, during which I was on video chat for about an hour, doing some online surfing, but mostly streaming. Battery was fully charged and is now at 39%. Considering it's made for gaming, I was expecting a bit more. 2) I'm not liking the keyboard at all! One feature I wanted was a backlit keyboard, which is the only feature I like about the keyboard. The layout is too basic. I'm used to caps lock, delete %26 the number keys on the right. When I have a lot of typing to do, I use my wireless keyboard. Overall, I like this Chromebook and happy with my purchase. I recommend anyone who does a lot of streaming to consider a gaming laptop, because you can get great graphics without spending a lot of money.
