Fitment:
Designed for Dana 30. Also fit Dana 25 and 27 axles.
Features:
(1) This gasket is far better than the flimsy paper gaskets that normally find with rebuild kits. It has rubberized grooves which compress when torqued to spec, and create a strong seal, preventing gear oil from seeping out with time.
(2) These gaskets are designed with a steel core that is rubber coated and have full perimeter elastomer beading on sides. Thus, the gasket will not split or extrude during installation and has superior torque retention.
(3) No need to mess with RTV, just clean the mating surfaces, put the gasket on and have it lined up right till all the holes lined. Then tightened the bolts per manufacturer specs. There is no set up time because installation is dry with no sealant needed.
(4) Be sure to clean the differential cover and the sealing surface of the differential case before installing this gasket. Use a good (clicker) torque wrench, and DO NOT tighten the cover bolts to more than 25 ft/lbs.
(5) This beading will provide a dry, leak-free seal in a wide range of temperatures, power, or driving conditions.
